Ci Rivediamo

It's my last day in Sorrento and it feels strange. It feels strange feeling so attached to a place I've only truly known for three weeks. On my way to my final for my language course, I was listening to "As The World Caves In" by Matt Maltese looking at the view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius, and got this feeling. If I could describe it or relate it back to anything, I would probably say when I was at the airport and was ready to leave for Italy but nowhere close to ready to leave my Mom in that airport. In this scenario, I'm ready to go to Rome and be with my one of my closest friends but I'm not ready to leave Sorrento.
I can't picture myself forgetting these days and nights. I can't forget these amazing language courses with amazing Professors. I can't forget the beautiful sights or the history.
I've learned so much while being here and gained a confidence in speaking Italian that I didn't think I would ever get when I first took classes at ACC.
Grazie Sorriento. Ci Rivediamo.
